Don't waste any time and make your selections now on the free horror movie streaming services this month. In August, there is a slightly smaller menu of films, but plenty of options for the discerning horror fan. Did I mention that all of these services are free? Good.
Pluto TV is the streaming service whose motto is “stream now, pay never”. While you might occasionally be prompted to start an account, even that step is not required, and Pluto TV has hundreds of channels that stream 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With the dedicated Horror, Terror, and Walking Dead Universe channels, you will never be without choices, but you can always look up specific films that you might like to watch at any time.
Tubi just has loads of films. While it doesn't have a streaming option and you can sign up for a free account, you could literally scroll for hours and never reach the bottom of their deep well of movies. We tried. There are definitely movies that you have never heard about waiting on Tubi just for you to discover them.
Vizio has reeled things back a bit after their shark extravaganza this month, but still has some tasty alternatives to the other services. Those alternatives run the gamut from prestige horror films, international films, and zombie gorefests.
