As FX's Alien: Earth creeps closer to its August 12 Hulu premiere, the brand collaborations have officially begun, giving Xenomorph fans a chance to get their hands (and stomachs) on some exclusive Alien: Earth merch, meals and experiences.
From director Noah Hawley (Fargo) and produced by Alien helmer Ridley Scott, Alien: Earth is set two years before the 1979 sci-fi horror classic, follows the fallout of a mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-landing on Earth. Wendy (Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat – and this time, it's not just Xenomorphs.
Starring in the 8-episode show are Timothy Olyphant (playing a synthetic humanoid named Kirsh), Sydney Chandler as Wendy, a “hybrid, a meta-human who has the brain and consciousness of a child but the body of an adult,” Essie Davis (The Babadook) and Alex Lawther (Black Mirror).
Among the new brand collars kicking off later this month is the launch of Orange Nova HyperFizz, a custom in-world beverage from Chain which debuted at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. ● Cocktail Courier and Kraken Rum: FX, Kraken Rum, and Cocktail Courier are stirring up something sinister. To celebrate FX’s Alien: Earth, FX is teaming with Kraken Rum and Cocktail Courier to deliver a limited-edition cocktail kit featuring Kraken Rum. The “Containment Cocktail Kit” includes co-branded glasses and ingredients to make two custom cocktail recipes inspired by FX’s Alien: Earth.
