Mike Flanagan's Carrie series is already boasting a pretty stacked cast, with today bringing further news of additions to the Stephen King adapted series.

Joining the 8-episode Amazon series are Flanagan regulars Kate Siegel, Michael Trucco, Katee Sackhoff, Rahul Kohli, Crystal Balint, and Danielle Klaudt, all of whom worked with the director across his projects such as The Fall of the House of Usher, Midnight Mass and Oculus.

Newcomers to the Flanafam for Carrie include Heather Graham (Suitable Flesh), Tim Bagley(The Perfect Couple), Tahmoh Penikett (The Madness), Mapuana Makia (Doogie Kamealoha M.D.), newcomer Rowan Danielle, Naika Toussaint (Washington Black), Delainey Hayles (Interview with the Vampire), and Cassandra Naud (Influencer).

Previously announced cast members include Summer Howell as the titular telekinetic teen, Samantha Sloyan as Carrie's mother Margaret White, Siena Agudong as bully-turned-ally Sue Snell, Amber Midthunder as Miss Desjardin and Matthew Lillard as Principle Gayle.

Flanagan's Carrie, an adaptation of the 1974 Stephen King novel of the same name, is described as:

โ€œโ€ฆa bold and timely reimagining of the story of misfit high-schooler Carrie White (Howell), who has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother. After her fatherโ€™s sudden and untimely death, Carrie finds herself contending with the alien landscape of public High School, a bullying scandal that shatters her community, and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers.โ€

Flanagan's Carrie follows Brian de Palma's 1976 adaptation, the 1999 sequel The Rage: Carrie 2, a 2002 adaptation starring Angela Bettis and 2013's Carrie, starring Chloรซ Grace Moretz, as adaptations of the iconic horror tale.

Look out for more on Carrie as we get it.
