SYFY's all-new zombie series Revival, from co-show runners Luke Boyce (Revealer) and Aaron B. Koontz (Scare Package II, The Pale Door), is in full swing, with today bringing a sneak peek behind the scenes clip that details the process of bringing the show to life.
An adaptation of the Image Comics series of the same name by creators Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, Revival starts off one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin when the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves:
But this is no zombie story as the โrevivedโ appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, sheโs left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect
The series stars Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp, Ready or Not), Romy Weltman (Terror Train [2022]), David James Elliott (JAG) and Andy McQueen (Coroner), with recurring guest stars Steven Ogg, Phil Brooks (CM Punk), Gia Sandhu, Katherine King So, Maia Jae, Nathan Dales, Mark Little, Glen Gould, Lara Jean Chorostecki, and Conrad Coates.
SYFY's new look at Revival goes behind the scenes from the perspective of the showrunners, giving fans a better look at how these adaptations leap out of the pages and onto our screens.
New episodes of Revival air Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT on SYFY. All episodes will also be available to stream exclusively on Peacock a week after they air. Watch the behind the scenes clip below and for more, get the lowdown with our Ultimate Guide to Revival.
