The upcoming adaptation of Garth Ennis' hyper-violent comic book Crossed from Rob Jabbaz, director of the equally gory The Sadness, has found its leading duo, with Devin Druid (13 Reasons Why) and Ash Santos (American Horror Story) set to star.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Druid and Santos will play Stan and Cindy, survivors dealing with a pandemic that turns its victims into bloodthirsty maniacs referred to as the โ€œCrossedโ€, due to a large, cross-like rash that appears on their faces, who carry out their most evil thoughts with gleeful abandon.

Starring alongside Druid and Santos are Ethan Jones Romero (Law & Order) as Thomas, Kyla Hee (Psychosis) as Kelly, Chido Nwokocha (Top Gun: Maverick) as Kitrick, Spenser Granese (Dope Thief) as Brett, Bob Morley (The 100) as Randall, Ana Mulvoy Ten (American Crime) as Sheena, Steven Hack (Little Death) as Geoff and newcomer Lorenzo Ross as Patrick.

Leading the Crossed as the delightfully-named antagonist Horsecock is Owen Harn (Cobra Kai), who is joined by Fedor Steer (Haunted Mansion) as Face and Kelvin Adekunle (City of Love) as Stump.

Behind the scenes, Crossed‘s crew includes cinematographer Benji Bakshi (Bone Tomahawk), production designer Freddy Waff (Megalopolis), stunt coordinator Steve Brown (Avatar: The Way Of Water) and editor Greg Dโ€™Auria (Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3). Carl Choi of Six Studios produces.

Crossed is currently in post-production after wrapping filming in Los Angeles. Anyone who has seen Jabbaz's 2021 horror The Sadness knows his take on Crossed is not gonna hold back. We can't wait to be traumatized all over again.
