With Weapons' August 8 release date creeping closer, Warner Bros. has unveiled a full clip from Zach Cregger's multi-story horror epic – and it doesn't look like the Barbarian director is holding back.

Starring Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong (who does not seem to be having a good time in today's new clip), Austin Abrams (also set to lead Cregger's upcoming Resident Evil adaptation), Amy Madigan, and June Diane Raphael, Weapons follows a community left questioning the mysterious nighttime disappearance of all but one child from the same class.

Originally slated for release in January 2026, the R-rated, 100% RT FreshWeapons was bumped up to a summer release, demonstrating a keen amount of confidence from Warner Bros (Barbarian grossed $45.4 million worldwide against a production budget of $4.5 million). If this trailer is anything to go by, (plus the โ€œbatshit insaneโ€ first-look footage from CinemaCon), Weapons could be a similarly high-grossing horror hit.

As Warner Bros. kindly remind at the beginning, the following does contain spoilers for Weapons, although nothing that reveals the central mystery. However, if you want to go in totally blind, maybe skip watching. For those who don't mind…
