Codependent couples are creepy at the best of times, but NEON's latest trailer for upcoming cosmic body horror Together takes things to a whole new level.
Starring real-life couple Dave Franco and Alison Brie, Together is the feature debut of writer/director Michael Shanks, and releases theatrically on July 30.
Currently rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, Together‘s plot synopsis reads as follows:
Years into their relationship, Tim and Millie find themselves at a crossroads as they move to the country, abandoning all that is familiar in their lives except each other. With tensions already flaring, a nightmarish encounter with a mysterious, unnatural foe threatens to corrupt their lives, their love, and their flesh.
Also starring are Damon Herriman (The Bondsman), Sunny S. Walia (Shantaram), Jack Kenny (Fires), and Mia Morrissey (Totally Completely Fine).
Following its premiere in the Midnight section of the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, Together was quickly picked up by NEON and rated R for violent/disturbing content, sexual content, graphic nudity, language and brief drug content.
