Steven Spielberg's all-time classic (and the original summer blockbuster) Jaws bites back into theaters this summer to celebrate 50 years since its 1975 release.

To mark this milestone, Universal Pictures has kicked off a nearly year-long celebration with a theatrical re-release, an anniversary edition on Digital and Blu-ray, summer streaming on Peacock of the film, all-new merchandise โ€” including the upcoming Jaws: The Exhibition, planned by the Academy Museum.

Jaws: The Exhibition will be on view at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures beginning September 14, with tickets available now.

Plus, in April, the 2025 TCM Classic Film Festival will host the first theatrical screening of the year with a special 50th anniversary presentation of the film. Fans around the country can also join in on the celebration beginning on August 29 through September 4 when Jaws returns to the big screen.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will kick off its summer-long Jaws celebration over Memorial Day weekend this May. Alamo locations nationwide will be hosting Jaws Movie Party screenings featuring a special menu and fun props along with limited-edition popcorn buckets and merchandise.

AND, just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, special Jaws on the Water screenings will take place at Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, this June and July. Additionally, in the most fitting of locations โ€” Marthaโ€™s Vineyard โ€” fans can enjoy an unforgettable experience on June 21 as part of the Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow, in partnership with The Marthaโ€™s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce and Circuit Arts.

Merch fiends can also enjoy special 50th anniversary Jaws collections from companies including H&M, UNIQLO, Nautica, EastPak, NECA, LEGO and many more.

On the odd chance you've spent your entire life under a rock and have never seen Jaws, the creature feature stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw as a police chief, marine biologist and shark hunter on a desperate quest to destroy a great white shark terrorizing the seaside community of Amity.

Look out for more Jaws anniversary celebration news as we get it!
