Everyone's favorite masked mama's boy took over San Diego Comic-Con yesterday with the first look at Sweet Revenge, a new short-form vignette from Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn, the upcoming Silent Night, Deadly Night reboot) and the Jason Universe.

Described as the centerpiece of Friday the 13th‘s 45th anniversary campaign, Sweet Revenge is presented by Angry Orchard Hard Cider, which is sponsoring the vignette as part of a larger collaboration with the franchise. The short will debut on both the Jason Universe YouTube channel and Angry Orchard‘s site on August 13.

Yesterday's panel, moderated by Mondoโ€™s Peter Santa Maria with appearances from Nelson, Atomic Monsterโ€™s Judson Scott, Horror, Inc. executives Rob and Robbie Barsamian and CMO Sheri Conn, also featured a message from Crystal Lake showrunner Brad Caleb Kane from the set of the Linda Cardellini-starring Friday the 13th prequel series which is now filming.
