Having officially announced itโs heading for Las Vegas next fall, the Halloween-themed convention and experience HallowScreamCon has revealed where its screams will be taking place next year. The brand-new event for horror fans will be held from October 1-4, 2026, and will transform the Las Vegas Convention Center into the experience of your screams, as well as incorporating several other satellite venues across the city.
Described as โComic-Con meets immersive theme park,โ HallowScreamCon is a โa celebration of pop culture, fandom, nostalgia, and spectacle, all set in the entertainment capital of the world at the most thrilling time of year.โ While satellite venues have yet to be announced, presale tickets for the event go on sale this October 1, exactly a year before the event begins.
The new convention will feature numerous immersive experiences for guests to take part in, including ScreamLabs, a โpitch zone for creators of original horror, sci-fi, and fantasy IPโ; the SINema, where fans can watch horror classics, cult gems, and more; Game Over, featuring plenty of horror gaming; Otaku Obscura, dedicated entirely to anime, manga, and Eastern horror; The Punkins Zone, a family-friendly area for kids; Something Wicked, an 18+ playground hosted after dark; and more. The con will also host numerous signature events, including their glamorous HallowScream Ball, as well as a Halloween-themed prom tribute to the โ80s, โ90s, and 2000s.
โWeโre not here to separate, weโre here to elevate,โ says Kelly Warnell, CEO of Screen Masters, who are producing the event. โHallowScreamCon was born out of a love for entertainment, fandom, Halloween, and spectacleโand itโs designed to welcome everyone into the experience. Itโs also important to show that leadership in this space can look different. Vision, scale, and creativity know no gender.โ
Much like Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood, HallowScreamCon will also feature a central character: Countess Shrieky Von Tiki, a โcursed 1950s starlet who vanished after sipping a forbidden cocktail called The Final Scream.โ Her legend lives on in the eventโs bar, the ShriekEasy, and beginning this fall, a nationwide treasure hunt for the countess will begin, allowing fans a chance to solve cryptic riddles across social media, fandom hubs, and major cities.
