As if Halloween Horror Nights couldnโt get any better, attendees of this yearโs event in Hollywood are going to be treated to a rockinโ new soundtrack. Universal Studios Hollywood just announced that theyโre teaming up with iconic musician and Guns Nโ Roses guitarist Slash for a terrifying new slate of original experiences, exclusive to the Los Angeles park.
For the seventh year in a row, the musician will be creating a score for one of Halloween Horror Nightsโ iconic haunted houses โ this time, itโs โScarecrow,โ, where audiences are put up against a horde of living scarecrows, brought to life by Mother Nature herself as retribution for humanityโs sins against nature.
But if you canโt make it to Hollywood to experience the soundtrack in person, Universal is also rounding up all the music Slash has written for houses past and present for a special vinyl-only release. SLASH: Music of Universal Studios Hollywood โ Halloween Horror Nights, Volume 2 rounds up his compositions from the last six years, featuring tracks from Horror Nightsโ houses for Universal Monsters, including The Bride of Frankenstein, Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, and more, and will be available for purchase only at Universal Studios Hollywood.
โAs a longtime fan of Halloween Horror Nights, it has been incredibly rewarding to not only have experienced the event as a guest, but to have partnered with Universal Studios Hollywood for so many years to create an array of original music that intensifies the storylines of these haunted houses,โ said SLASH. โThis yearโs collaboration with Halloween Horror Nights and the chance to become one of the eventโs marquee experiences is truly humbling and I canโt wait for the guests to join me when they step into the terror.โ
Attendees will also be treated to a special themed Slash Bar located above Jurassic World โ The Ride, where they can sip on themed cocktails like โSlashโs Snakepitโ (if you know, you know) and try special treats like Thai beef tacos and a uniquely themed Hat Cake, modeled after the guitaristโs iconic headgear.
Halloween Horror Nights begins in Hollywood on September 4, running select dates through November 2, and tickets are available for purchase now.
