Art the Clown fans, mark your calendars – Broke Horror Fan is bringing Damien Leone's 2016 slasher Terrifier to limited edition, fully functional VHS next Wednesday.
Going on sale on Wednesday, March 19, at 12pm ET/9am PT via Witter Entertainment, the Terrifier VHS will be available in two variants: a standard slipcase with new art by Neil Fraser, and a book box edition featuring a gatefold cover and a glow-in-the-dark red tape (limited to 250).
Officially licensed from Dread and Epic Pictures and approved by Leone, each Terrifier tape includes an exclusive introduction by Art the Clown himself, David Howard Thornton, plus a special feature titled Art the Clown Makeup Time Lapse.
For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame.
As if we need to remind you, Terrifier made waves back in 2016 with its grisly tale of Tara Heyes (Jenna Kanell), her friend Dawn Emerson (Catherine Corcoran) and her sister Victoria (Samantha Scaffidi), who become targets of the now-iconic maniacal Art the Clown. The first in the franchise went on to birth Terrifier 2, Terrifier 3 and the upcoming Terrifier 4, currently in the works, which could be the end to the sinister saga.
Head over to Broke Horror Fan for more information on the upcoming Terrifier VHS release.
