This month marks one year since the release of Jane Schoenbrun's FANGORIA Chainsaw Award-winning sophomore feature I Saw the TV Glow and to celebrate, A24 has dropped a bunch of new merchandise including a limited edition playable VHS, perfectly in fitting with the film's nostalgic vibes.

The VHS includes four unique collectible cards based on the fictional television series at the heart of the psychological horror film, “The Pink Opaque”, with a sleeve design, label and cards designed by Matthew Dix.

TV Glow fans also can grab a Pink Opaque candle (with notes of sugar, cherry, orange flower, raspberry blossom, skin musk and sandalwood – yum), a hat, enamel pins and t-shirts featuring the Pink Opaque's heroes Isabel and Tara, and the Ice Cream monster.

Starring Justice Smith and Jack Haven, I Saw the TV Glow followed two lonely teens who find their identity in the aforementioned YA supernatural horror series “The Pink Opaque”. Helena Howard, Lindsey Jordan, Conner Oโ€™Malley, Emma Portner, Ian Foreman, Fred Durst and Danielle Deadwyler also star.

Schoenbrun currently has a novel in the works, Public Access Afterworld, which will be published by Hogarth in 2026, as well as the upcoming meta-slasher Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, which stars Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder.
