Ghostface voice actor Roger L. Jackson will be lending his vocal talents to the audiobook edition of Your Favorite Scary Movie, an upcoming deep-dive into the iconic Wes Craven slasher Scream.
Written by journalist and author Ashley Cullins, Your Favorite Scary Movie will feature brand-new interviews from over 80 key players in Scream’s history, including Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Kevin Williamson, as well as Jackson, and will be published by Penguin Random House on August 19.
Per Mr Jackson, who has provided the iconic dulcet tones of the masked slasher in every Scream from the 1996 original to Radio Silence's most recent Scream VI, in a statement:
“It is my hope that everyone who listens to this audiobook enjoys it as much as I enjoyed reading it. So well written, with depth and nuance. Many things I never knew and stories I had never heard. This is essential reading for anyone interested in Scream […] It was an honor to read this for fans of the films and people, like me, who delight in audiobooks.”
Jackson will also be providing the voice of Ghostface in the upcoming Scream 7, directed by Scream writer Kevin Williamson and scheduled for release on February 27, 2026. The Sidney-focused story stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, Isabel May, McKenna Grace, Jasmin Savoy-Brown, Sam Rechner, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Anna Camp ,Mark Consuelos and Joel McHale, Scott Foley, Matthew Lillard, Ethan Embry and David Arquette.
